House Search: Day 1

Our realtor, Tracey took s to see six houses today. We saw two that we want to keep in the running. One was in Barre and one in Rutland. We'll be going out again with Tracey on Thursday.

Tomorrow, we'll be showing the two to Briar and we'll be exploring the proximity of the 2 sites to shopping, health care, etc.

Our campsite here is close to Rutland but is on a lake, deep in the woods. We expected to be in a bustling campground but, again, because the schools haven't let out yet, the campground is almost empty and most of the facilities are closed.

Last night, it poured all night. We're under trees and I think that the water dripping off the trees hits the roof of the trailer particularly loudly. We didn't get a lot of sleep last night, The temperatures today, again, didn't get out of the 40's. On the news, they're saying that we've had record low highs for two days in a row.

Fortunately the sun has come out, we have our windows open at 7:30 PM and the temperatures should be in the high 60's tomorrow,
