Cross Country Move 2015: Life Among the Boxes

We've reached the point where everything that can be packed has been packed. Everything that needs to be sold or given away has been sold or given away. Movers have been arranged for. Everything that needs to be arranged for has been arranged for. Now, we're just sitting and waiting.

We'll be bringing Baby (our trailer) home tomorrow so that we can get it prepared for our journey. We'll be moving into Baby in an RV Resort in Hemet on Sunday.

Monday, we'll back at the house to do our final packing and to be here during the buyers final walk through.

Tuesday, we'll be at the house early to let the movers in.

Wednesday, we'll take care of any final cleanup that might be needed. Our terrific neighbors have agreed to loan us their vacuum, etc. since ours will bee with the movers.

Thursday is the close. We'll be sticking around a couple of days afterwards just to make sure that there aren't any issues associated with getting the proceeds of the sale wired into our account (it'd be nice to still be local if there's a problem.

Saturday, we'll hit the road.
